Bank of Erath is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC, through December 31, 2010, for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules. The FDIC permanently raised the current standard maximum deposit insurance amount to $250,000.00.

The board of directors commits to maintain the rate on its NOW accounts at no more than the maximum allowable under TAGP for participation in that program for as long as the institution continues to participate in the program.
